The Third Annual Soldiers’ Angels Sale-abration is just under one month away and here in San Antonio at the Soldiers’ Angels Support Center we’re getting very excited—lots of items are being offered up for sale, and even a gourmet food company is joining us to cook and donate!
Sale-abration is an annual nationwide garage/yard sale, held this year on October 21-23, 2011. Over the years, this special event has drawn together people across the nation to clear out their homes, support the troops, and spread the word about Soldiers’ Angels in their communities. It is a tremendous opportunity to raise awareness of the needs of military personnel, veterans and their families, and show patriotic Americans how to support them through activities such as signing cards for deployed and wounded heroes.
It’s not too late to start! This is a great event for a school or church, a Scout/youth group, or any organization. Get your whole neighborhood involved in one big yard sale!
