Wednesday 7/27/11 6:30pm – 8:00pm Central (Repeat)
Welcome Stardust Listeners! Thank you for joining us on United We Roll
Tuesday, the 26th day of July, 2011.
On today's show, we will check in with two deployed members, one from the Army and one from the Air Force members. Then we will also visit with a Marine who is out of the service and making the transition into civilian life. Remember, if you are not able to stay with us through the afternoon today, this show will repeat again tomorrow, Wednesday, July 27th at 6:30pm Central.
(2:11pm) We start off with a very inspirational visit with Army SSG Jermaine Hollis, who is deployed in Iraq with HHC (Headquarters and Headquarters Company), 299th BSB (Brigade Support Battalion), 2-1 AAB (Advise and Assist Brigade).
(2:43pm) Our next visit takes us to Transit Center Manas in Kyrgyzstan to speak with TSG Eric Lacroix who is deployed there with the 376th EMG (Expeditionary Maintenance Group).
(3:20pm) I am sure we see the news reports almost every day where many of our Vets are returning home, leaving the service and trying to find jobs to move back into the civilian life. Making the transition is not easy and employment is not a simple thing to find. Our next guest, Craig Siwarga, recently left the Marines where he was a Staff Sergeant to make a new life in the civilian world with the help of a new Soldiers Angels program called SAVE – Save A Veterans Employment. www.soldiersangels.org
We would like to express our appreciation to some folks without whom the visits this week would not be possible. Our deepest appreciation goes to Army CPT Selina Tolonen and Air Force TSgt Tammie Moore.
As always, our hearts and prayers go out to all of our military members, families, Veterans and to all of our first responders & their families - everyone who puts their lives on hold and on the line for us and our families.
We thank our listeners for tuning in and keeping in touch with our Heroes of Freedom as they share their experiences and thoughts with us at home. From the volunteers here at United We Roll and Stardust Radio, we wish all of you a safe and happy week.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL & MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
