News You Can Use: Research on the Effects of Deployment on Military Families
In this longitudinal study, researchers were trying to understand the experiences of a sample of youth in military families and their nondeployed parents. They wanted to understand what the experience of parental deployment was like for teenagers and what their experiences were academically, socially, and emotionally.
